Getting Started with Django (GSWD) started off in 2009 or so with a series of videos from Kenneth Love about, well, getting started with Django. Sadly, that series never wrapped up, but it was still very popular.

Sadly, this series ended early, too, struck down by careers and time constraints. Kenneth still creates educational content but Getting Started with Django is, for all intents and purposes, purely for archival purposes now.
